Project overview
Memories.fm is a platform where fans discover the real stories behind their favorite songs, told directly by artists. After a rebrand, the team wanted the new product experience to reflect its updated identity and emotional tone. My task was to redesign the platform to make it more engaging and intuitive while introducing an Events feature that allows fans to buy tickets to artist shows, deepening both emotional and real-world connection.
The goal was to improve user engagement and retention by redesigning Memories.fm into a more immersive and brand-aligned storytelling platform.

My role
I worked as the lead product designer, responsible for the end-to-end user experience, visual direction, and implementation of the new brand system within the product. I collaborated closely with the founder to merge storytelling, usability, and brand emotion into one cohesive experience that serves both creative and commercial goals.
Lead the product redesign and align the new brand identity with business objectives and user needs.
The problem
The storytelling experience lacked visual depth and emotional appeal.
Artists had no built-in way to promote their live shows or link stories to real-world performances.
The interface didn’t reflect the energy or visual direction of the updated brand.
Address low engagement and limited storytelling depth that made it hard for fans to connect with artists.
Impact
The redesign increased user engagement by making stories more discoverable and visually dynamic.
The new Events feature introduced an additional layer of artist monetization and fan interaction.
The updated design language unified the brand identity across the product, improving brand perception and retention.
The platform now connects emotional storytelling with measurable business outcomes.
Strengthen artist–fan relationships and drive platform engagement through immersive design.
